Embracing people where they are…unconditionally.
Mark 12:30-31
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
We believe that every person, Christian and non-Christian alike, is valuable to God. This means that we go out of our way to create a friendly, welcoming environment at The Highlands. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been here for years, we want you to feel like part of the family. Our goal is to present the message of Jesus in a simple, creative way that impacts hearts and transforms lives.
Because it’s all about loving God and loving people, we honor diversity and believe that we are called to live in unity. We recognize the value that different ethnicity, gender, age, and socioeconomic statuses bring to our body. A key way we seek to love those who come to The Highlands and the Antelope Valley is through our events and, specifically, our weekend services. We invite those who consider The Highlands their church family to join with us as volunteer partners to welcome and love those who are saying “yes” to what God has next for them.
