Hostess Table Guidelines
Thank you for agreeing to host a table at our Holiday Brunch! With your help, we can make this a fun, meaningful event.
The following are items that will be provided:
  • Round table and chairs for 8 guests
  • White tablecloth
  • All plates, glasses, cups, utensils, food, and condiments
Hostesses are asked to provide a centerpiece for your table. Use your imagination, but please stay with the “Thankful for the Gift”/Holiday theme. You are welcome to bring optional items like chargers, placemats, a small favor for your guests, or anything you wish to use in decorating your table.
A Table Contest will be held in appreciation for all your effort. Guests will vote anonymously for Best Table Design.
Hostesses will not need to do any serving, but we do ask that you please reflect the vision and values of The Highlands. Greet, love, and extend kindness to each guest at your table.
Again, thank you so much for your participation at the Connect Women’s Holiday Brunch!
Speaker Information
Sue Boldt will be our speaker for this year’s Connect Women’s Holiday Brunch!
Sue and her husband, Randy, have served in pastoral ministry for over thirty years. However, in the midst of this ministry, she found herself deeply entrenched in an eating disorder, an uncontrollable fantasy thought-life, and finally, depression.
The Lord Jesus has lovingly and completely demolished these strongholds, bringing healing and restoration. Currently, she is experiencing the Lord as the Great Physician from a medical diagnosis of a rare, aggressive, and incurable cancer.
Her ministry passion is helping men and women come to know God intimately and to experience the freedom to be found in His love and through the power of His Word. She loves speaking to both small and large groups across the country, writing a daily devotional on her Facebook page titled, “Sue Boldt Crosspointe,” and traveling with Randy twice a year to Asia to minister with Youth With A Mission.
Her life’s other primary joy is being a “mom” to her three wonderful children and their amazing spouses and being “Nana” to her precious grandchildren.
